Are you preparing for the season ahead?
Hopefully Spring is on its way and the competitive golf juices are starting to flow with the clubs first competition of the year being played later this month. At the start of every year there can be an air of optimism with new products being released helping you to enjoy your golf more. With the better weather and lighter evenings on the way it is an ideal opportunity to come up to the club and either go down to the practice ground or play a few holes. In order to hopefully get some confidence going into the new season.
In the shop we often here tales of what might have been, played great on the front 9 and it all went to pieces on the back 9, the frustrated golfer then goes up to the bar and has the fun taken out of them for blowing it. Next time you play try to concentrate on just hitting the best shot you can, not worry about how your score is going. This takes a bit of pressure off and becomes a process which can end up as a good score. Obviously this takes practice to do, so next time you play, try it out and see how you fair. It is harder than you think, but keep trying it. Above all, enjoy the game.
